Since Dongseo Oriental Medical Center & Dongseo Hospital’s establishment 40 years ago, we have been dedicated to the development of medical arts based on the sanctity of life as a hospital that treats paralysis (stroke). To provide better medical services, we are doing our best by introducing diverse oriental & occidental diagnosis and treatment systems for strokes, herniated disk diseases, rehabilitation, wellbeing, etc. Under our acknowledgement of the importance of disease prevention and treatment, Dongseo Oriental Medical Center &Dongseo Hospital has introduced computer medical equipments since 1997, equipped with a comprehensive diagnosis & treatment system ranging from oriental medical rehabilitation therapy (physical therapy, and occupational therapy to speech therapy) to obesity therapy.

Not satisfied with its current state, Dongseo Oriental Medical Center &Dongseo Hospital is seeking to make the medical development through patients referrals in cooperation with Kyunghee University Medical Center, Yonsei University of Medicine, Gangnam Severance Hospital, Mary’s Hospital of Catholic University of Korea, Kyunghee University Hospital at Gangdong, and Yongsan Hospital of Chung-Ang University Hospital. The hospital is also working for the development for new medical science and the improvement of treatment systems through active international exchanges and medical trainings by entering into a sister hospital for cooperation with Liaoning Paralysis (Stroke) Medical Center in China.

Furthermore, the hospital is pushing ahead with a stroke and dementia treatment hospital with more than sickbeds. Not only stroke patients but dementia patients are increasing in number. But Korea lacks the treatment facilities for those dementia patients. The hope that we can treat dementia patients who are difficult to care for is being a driving force to Dongseo Oriental Medical Center &Dongseo Hospital.. Dongseo Oriental Medical Center & Dongseo Hospital is a growing hospital for the future of patients. We will put patients on top priority and do all we can to become a hospital making efforts to be always renewed, so that patients benefit from us.
